Roagna - Barbera D'Alba Barbera d' Alba DOC Grape blend: Barbera Ageing and Fining: Fermentation takes place exclusively in large wood casks thanks to a pied de cuve created from our indigenous yeasts. This lasts for ten days and then we use the ancient technique of maceration by splinting the submerged cap process which lasts for at least two and a half months, (70- 80 days). The wine is then aged in a neutral oak barrel for approximately five years. Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C. Ingredients: Contains sulfites Color: Deep ruby red color. Taste: The palate is fruity, full-bodied, with slight tertiary notes and a strong acidity. Aroma: The nose prevailing characteristic vinous aroma, with notes of red fruit and spicy nuances. Matching Piedmontese hot appetizers, tasty first courses, second courses with red and white meat, boiled. Try it with bagna cauda. Alcohol: 2011 Ml. 750: 13.5%
 The first year of wine made with the Barbaresco classification as we know it today was in 1890. In the historic center of the village Vincenzo and Rosa producd the first bottle of Barbaresco wine.
